He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Ellison Outen, Sr. and Theo Horton Outen; his wife Flo Spease Outen; and his sisters, Ann Marie Thompson, Virginia Miller and Mary Lee Morrison.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Outen (Jenny) of Cheraw, S. C. and Ginger Caughman (Bill) of Daniel Island, S. C.; his grandchildren, Mikki MacCheyne, Lauren Outen, Cynthia Vannoy (Brady) and Will Caughman (Erin); his great grandchildren, Catherine, Julia MacCheyne, Rob, Belle Vannoy, Mark and Lizzie Caughman; and his cousin Billy Boan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the First United Methodist Church or The Methodist Men's Bible Class in Cheraw, S.C. 117 Third Street, Cheraw, SC 29520.
