She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Adger Howle, Sr. and Janie Jackson Howle; her husband R. E. Mayhew, Jr.; her stepson Jackie Mayhew; her siblings, J. Adger Howle, Jr. (Tootsie), Walter Wilcox Howle (JoAnne) and Virginia H. Coleman (Marshall); and her stepgranddaughter Rebecca Mayhew Cassidy.
She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Mayhew (Michelle Meteraud) of Charleston, SC; her stepdaughter Joan Mayhew Easterling of Cheraw, SC; her stepgranddaughter Crystal Mayhew McQuage (Jason); and her stepgreat-grandson Jonathan Cassidy.
