He is survived by: his wife Marie Shoemake Sheppard; his children, Jamie Sheppard of Cheraw, Shannon Sheppard of Bennettsville and Elizabeth Traenkner (James) of Texas; his sister Irene Roller of Bennettsville; his grandchildren, Ashley Jackson, Heather Jackson, Dakota Jackson and Mackenzie Traenkner; and his great grandchildren, Bryson, Jacob, Eli, Hazelynn, Karter and Kashleigh. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
