He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Geiger and Beatrice Gail Ray Geiger; his uncle Mike Ray; his brother-in-law Bobby Schmehl; and his close friend Phil Dennison.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Schmehl Geiger; his children, Dustin Brooks (Anna) of Foley, AL and Kyndall Norris (Patrick) of Cheraw, SC; his brother Ricky Geiger of Jacksonville, FL; and his granddaughter Avery Joelle Brooks.
