He was predeceased by: his daughter Kelly Efird; his father Grady Jacob; his children, Harvol Max Efird, Jr. and Sherry Rumple; and his brothers, Lewis, Jack, Gary, Floyd and William Efird.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Ramsey (Matthew), Wade Efird of Norwood and Darrell Efird of Ft. Mill, SC; and his siblings, Price Efird (Ruby) of Albemarle, Gene Efird of Albemarle, Cassie Eddins of Cheraw and Judy Morton (Tony) of Albemarle. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
