He was predeceased by: his parent Luther Hunter; and also Jack Caskey. He is survived by: his parent Mable Hunter; his wife Dovie Robertson Hunter; and his sons, Garry Hunter (Jane) of Cheraw and Reggie Hunter (Nancy) of Murphy. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
