She was predeceased by: her parent Arbon D. Hughes; her brother Gary Hughes; and her stepfather Leonard Ruess. She is survived by: her mother Edith May Mauser Ruess of Lincroft, NJ; her children, Kevin Scanlan (Devonna Lee) of Cheraw, SC, Kim O'Conner (Sean) of Boise, ID and Erin Cassidy of Cheraw, SC; and her siblings, Greg Hughes (Ellen) of Lincroft, NJ, Gwen Hughes (Gene) of Weeki Wachee, FL, Kathy Hughes of Lincroft, NJ and Chris Ruess of Lincroft, NJ. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
