With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Cheves Brock (Cheraw, South Carolina), who passed away on March 5, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Cheves and Marcella Griggs Cheves; her husband Thomas Howard Brock; her daughter Tonya Brock; her brother Wade Cheves; her parents-in-law, Nancy Jane Moore Brock and Archie Clyde Brock; and her siblings-in-law, Calvin Brock, Jack Bennett, Lola Mae Lee, Leona Morris (J. W.) and Elizabeth Pierce (Howard).
She is survived by: her son Tommy Brock (Melissa) of Cheraw, SC; her grandchildren, Lane Brock and Kasey Brock; her sister Lois Bennett of Cheraw, SC; her siblings-in-law, Louise Brock of Cheraw, SC, Sara Cheves of Wallace, SC, Edward Brock (Dianne) of Cheraw, SC and Diane Allen (Boggan) of Ansonville, NC; and her close friends, Patricia Nelson, Bobby, Delores Lewis, Henry Ratliff, Steve and Mary Alice Stafford. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, and cousins.
