She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy H. Wise and Claryne Griggs Wise; her husband Bud Grant; her daughter Gabrielle Rainwater; her sisters, Janet Wease and Shirley Tinkham; and her grandson David G. Rainwater, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, David Rainwater (Tabitha) of Cheraw, SC and Shannon Marie Murray of Rockingham, NC; and her grandchildren, Meighan Quinn (Matt), Celeste Rainwater, Trevor Rainwater, Chazz Murray and Azpen Murray. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kiser Funeral Home (1020 State Rd, Cheraw, SC 29520). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Richmond County Memorial Park Cemetery (1717 E Broad Ave, Rockingham, NC 28379).
