He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shaw and Elizabeth Dixon Shaw; and his son James Shaw. He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Shaw, Jr. of Frisco, TX and Scott A. Shaw of Augusta, GA.; his wife Jane Elisabeth Hittie Purvis; and his children, Karen J. Fischer of Butler, PA, Roger T. Purvis of Morgantown, WV, Richard A. Purvis of Harriman, TN and John M. Purvis of Cheraw, SC.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiser Funeral Home (1020 State Rd, Cheraw, SC 29520). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
