He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Perrin and Emmie Lou Byrd Young; and his sisters, Myra Drinkard and Bobbie Hanvey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Robinson Young; his children, David C. Young (Wendy) of Marbury, AL, Sarah Young (Kara) of Irondale, AL and Karen Banks (Ronnie) of Florence, SC; and his grandchildren, Russell Mathewes, Kevin Mathewes and Sarah Mathewes. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
