He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lance and Lorena Miller Chambers; and his sister Louella Chambers. He is survived by: his brother Bobby Johnson; his wife Jean J. Chambers; his sons, Christopher Lee Chambers (Chrystie) of Cheraw, SC and Michael Shaun Chambers of Mt. Croghan, SC; and his siblings, Jerry Chambers (Cathy) of Knightsdale, NC, Kay Pickens (David) of Gainesboro, TN, Jenny Smith of Wrightsville Beach, NC, Juanita Barrett of Oxford, NC and Nadean Long of Ridgemont, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
