He is survived by: his mother Gladys Grooms; his grandson Owen; his wife Kathy Sims of Ruby, SC.; his daughters, Kristi Grooms of Chapin, Danielle Johnson (Brian) of Cheraw and Whitney Sanders (Alan) of Cheraw; his grandchildren, Jonah, Brianna, Blake, Gracie, Ella Kate Johnson, Luke, Harper and Abel Sanders; his siblings, Arlene Hancock (Rex), Troy Grooms and Jeff Grooms; and his mother-in-law Ruby Sims. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
