He was predeceased by: his parents, B. C. Pigg, Jr. and Vennie Robertson Pigg; his daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Pigg Collins of Pageland; his siblings, James Rance Pigg, Fanell P. Rivers of Mt. Croghan and Katrina P.; and his brother-in-law Charlie Sturgis of Monroe.
He is survived by: his friend Jan; his wife Bobbie T. Pigg; his son Farris; his daughter-in-law Jane Pigg of Cheraw; his grandchildren, Britt Pigg (Caleigh) of Rock Hill, Brad Pigg (Jessie) of Pageland, Melissa Shrum of Spartanburg and Jon David Shrum (Dana) of Boiling Springs; his great grandchildren, Elisa Petty of Spartanburg, Katelyn Elizabeth Pigg, Kenzie Grace Pigg, Kolton Bradley Pigg, Taftt Riggins Pigg of Rock Hill, Stevie Rose Shrum, Salem and Silas Shrum of Boiling Springs; his great great grandchildren, Milani and Miguel Petty of Spartanburg; his son-in-law David Collins of Pageland; his siblings-in-law, Sue Pigg of Virginia Beach and Jimmie Attaway Rivers of Mt. Croghan; and his nieces and nephews, Kathy Sturgis Ward (Ronnie) of Winchester, VA, Neal Sturgis (Diane) of Fort Mill, Tavia Pigg Hazel (Wade) of Reelsville, IN, Jimmie Rivers (Michelle) of Mt. Croghan, Peggy Pigg Palacioz (Tony) of Virginia Beach and Scott Rivers (Dale) of Wadesboro. He is also survived by his wife and his two children, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
