She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelley Henry and Eva Weatherford Odom; her husband Furman Cason; her sons, Larry Cason, Christopher Cason and Rex Cason; her granddaughter Emily Rushing; her siblings, Henry Odom, Ronnie Odom, William Odom, Frank Odom and Linda Odom; and her children-in-law, Veronica Leviner Cason and Rev. Jerry Rushing.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Rushing of Ruby, SC and Casey Davis (Bob) of Sevierville, TN; her grandchildren, John Cason of Florence, SC, Matthew Cason (Becky) of Society Hill, SC, Rex Cason II (Olivia) of Gulf Breeze, FL, Bryan Cason of Pensacola, FL, Heather of Pensacola, FL, Jeffrey Rushing of Ruby, SC and Briana Rushing of Bennettsville, SC; and her siblings, Jimmy Odom (Kathy) of Greenville, SC and Marjorie McInville of Hartsville, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
