He is survived by: his children, Wilhelmena Washington and Sherry Kay Smith; his grandchildren, Brai'Juan Washington, Brea Washington, Iqualm Edmunds and Jaden Smith; his great grandchildren, Braiden Washington, Messiah Washington and Kartier Edmunds; his sisters, Ethel Johnson and Diane Vazquez (George); his nieces, Joann Johnson, Latorcha Simmons and Chavelta Montgomery; his great-niece Michelle Wade; and his cousin Rozenia Corley.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home (2119 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405).
