He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Seay Gibbs; and his brother Coming Ball Gibbs, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jenny; his children, Tess Gibbs Craddock (Clay) and Lee Gibbs Depret-Bixio (Christian); his grandchildren, William Gibbs Craddock, Cecilia Depret-Bixio Hyndman (Justin), Anne Claiborne Craddock and Emma Lee Depret-Bixio; and his sister Elizabeth Lee Gibbs. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
