He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Bailey Hurt of Charleston. He is survived by: his father Jerry Garfield Hurt Sr. (Joanie) of High Springs; his daughters, Joanna Robin Hurt of Washington, D. C., Kathryn Susan Hurt Baldwin of Summerville and Sullivan Mack Baldwin; his siblings, Jerry Garfield Hurt Jr. (Lisa), Cathy Hurt Coleman (Lee) of Hudson and Julie Hurt Winthrop of Trenton, Florida.; and his pet Redskins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
