She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Tuten; and her siblings, Margaret Conley and Marler Yerby. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Piggott (Dale) of Kingwood, Melissa Chapman of Lexington, SC and James R. Tuten; her grandchildren, Paul David McLendon (Alicia), Aaron McLendon (Shastan), Luke McLendon, Andrew McLendon, Anna Margaret Chapman, Emma O'Connor, Abby O'Connor and Isla O'Connor; her godson Thomas Conley (Elaine); and also Mount.
She faced Alzheimer's for five years and we now rejoice that she is of sound mind and at peace.
