Valentine Joseph Lindsay Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valentine Joseph Lindsay of Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 92. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Eileen Heider (Ken) and Valerie Tyler; his grandchildren, Ben Tyler (Kaylan), Brian Tyler, Alex Tyler, Kendall Crosby (Chris) and Kyle Heider; and his great grandchildren, Amilie "Millie" Crosby and Christopher "Chrisser" Crosby.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home (1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (1695 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd, Charleston, SC 29407). A committal service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens (3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414).
