We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2024, at the age of 82, Tilden James Doby Jr. of Charleston, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tilden James Doby, Sr. and Willie Leigh Ridgill Doby. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jean Fleming Doby; his children, Melissa McKenzie (Forest), Bryan Doby (Anna) and Kenneth Doby (Laura); his sisters, JoAnn Doby, Diane Doby and Jean Goodson; his grandchildren, James Doby, Kennedy Luna (Garrett), Michalanne Wallace (Rustin) and Elizabeth McKenzie; and his great grandchildren, Carter Wallace, Everlee Luna and Jack Luna.

Memorials may be made to Ashley River Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
