He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Harold Ratliff and Joan Alligood Ratliff; and his siblings, Stephanie Bolton and Madison Allen Ratliff. He is survived by: his wife Faye Burnsed Ratliff; his brothers, Jack H. Ratliff (Ruth) and Keith L. Ratliff (Wanda); his in-laws, Robert "Bobby" and Theresa Orvin; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Burnsed. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
