She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Stokes and Susanna Heyward Stokes of Charleston; her children, Blondell Stokes Gaillard, Barbara Stokes Heyward, Annette Stokes Elliott, Stokes MaryAnn Stokes and Tangelia Stokes; and her nephew Dennon Heyward.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Stokes, Rodney Stokes and Anthony Stokes; and her nieces, LaShawn Ellington and Jennien Heyward.
