He is survived by: his wife Dona Anthony Murphy of New Jersey; his brother Thomas Murphy of Chalfont, PA; his former spouse Merle Skott Streetman; his children, Jacqueline Anne Murphy Danielsson of Pottstown, PA and Robert Joseph Murphy III of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his grandchildren, Lukas, Marley Danielsson, Parker and Ella Murphy; his former wife Joanne Goodhue of Tampa, FL; his children, Kiera Murphy Dare and Patrick Murphy; his grandchildren, Olivia, Alexander, Henry Dare, Maeve and Quinn Murphy; and his son Eric Greenberg of Bala Cynwyd, PA..

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greek Orthodox Church (30 Race St, Charleston, SC 29403). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens (1308 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464).
