It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Lane Duckett in Charleston, South Carolina, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Burrell and Herbert Duckett; and his brother Kenneth Duckett. He is survived by: his wife Letita Duckett; his children, Philip and Keigan; his granddaughter Selah Noel; his godmother Ramona Banner; his aunt Barbara Carson; his mother-in-law Shirley Mills; his siblings-in-law, Antonio Miller (Angela) and Sonja Moore (Daniel); his niece Mia Moore; and his nephew Corbin Moore. He is also survived by godchildren, other relatives, friends, mentees and many basketball sons.
