He is survived by: his wife Miriam Washington Johnson; his children, Tiemea Washington-Nelson (Barry), Tronya Johnson, Mytiah Hamilton and Richard Johnson; his grandchildren, Xi'Ahria Tisdale, Marquell, Malakhi and Jah'Vari Hamilton; and his siblings, Mamie Poole (John), Joanne Lockwood, Mary Harrison, Deloris Carson, Vivian Johnson, Betty Simmons (Carl) and Thomas Johnson (Emily). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
