She was predeceased by: her parents, Isadore Pendarius and Queenie Smith Pendarius; and her husband Deacon John Tobias, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Arthean T. Watkins; and her grandchildren, Pamela Perry Anderson, Elizabeth Watkins-Brown and Norris Geoffrey Watkins IV.
