He is survived by: his children, Theresa Brutsch of Johns Island, SC, Prentiss Boan, Jr. (Claudia) of Morganton, NC, Tonney Boan of Waynesboro, VA and Darrell Boan (Darlene) of Greensboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Joshua Boan, Daniel Boan, JoBeth Stamm (Boan), Brandon Boan, Chaz Boan, Cody Boan, Hannah Boan, Tacoma Boan, Jonah Boan and Micah Boan.
