He is survived by: his sister Jean Nauta of Pennsylvania; his children, Eugene Henry Hoekendorf of Mexico, Doris Perkins-Liland of New Jersey, Gretchen Bell of South Carolina and Holly Bell-Victor of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Christopher Liland of California, Mathew Liland of California and Carissa Liland of Florida; and his nephew Christopher Nauta (Becky) of Pennsylvania.
