It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Perry Rufus Leazer (Charleston, South Carolina), born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Leazer and Dora Leazer; and his siblings, Helen, Irene, JC, Anthony and Harry.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Pearson Leazer (Lady Bonnie); his children, Ervin Fitzgerald Leazer and Lana Lee Leazer of Winter Park, FL; his niece Dora Wood; and his nephews, Michael Protho, Anthony Leazer and Troy Leazer of Salisbury, NC. He is also survived by many other cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel (3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414).
