He is survived by: his son Christopher Manley Rentz of Charleston; and his siblings, Jacob "Aaron" Rentz Jr. (Diane) of Islandton, SC, Jarrett O. Rentz (Tammy) of Walterboro, SC, Samuel L. Rentz (Resa) of Beaufort, SC and Jennifer Rentz Lee (Arthur) of Moncks Corner.
