She is survived by: her brothers, Ralph Hooper (Jacqueline) and Donnie Hooper (Susie); her cousin Becky Swartzel; her children, Lieutenant Colonel and Melinda B. Murray; her significant other Vernon Mason; her grandchildren, Emma Caroline Gerard (Timothy Joseph Jr.), James Edward Brownlee III (Trey), Emmitt Allen Murray, Derek Kilpatrick and Kailey Romero (Tony); and also Charlotte. She is also survived by her nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
