He is survived by: his wife Lillian Braun Quantz of Charleston, S. C.; his sons, Newton Gaston Quantz, III (Lanier) and William Brogan Quantz (Beth) of Charleston, S. C.; his grandson Newton Gaston Quantz; and his brother Francis Patterson Quantz (Jeanie). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
