He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard P. Reineck and Adeline Reineck (Gfell); and his wife Aileen Peterson (McLernon). He is survived by: his children, Amber Root (Bryan), Abby Reineck (Geoffrey Sinner) of Erie, PA, Scott Reineck (JoAnn), Columbus, Ross Reineck (Alissa), Caitlin Jacobs (Joseph) of Summerville, SC and John "Jake" Peterson of Charleston, SC; his siblings, Susan and Richard Reineck (Barb); his grandchildren, Norah, Jack Root, Otto, Leona, Michael Sinner, Adeline, Violet, Lilah, Tristan, Jace, Reed Reineck, Connor and Elliott Jacobs; and his granddaughter-in-law Connie Reineck.
