With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merle Lurene Blitch of Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert English Blitch Sr. and Bessie Mae Lewis Blitch; and her nephew Timothy St. Marie. She is survived by: her husband Michael Robert Lawson; her son Matthew Kleinman of Charleston; her siblings, Robert Blitch and Linda St. Marie; her grandchildren, Shelby Durham and Roderick'Rory'Hull; and her pet Chico.
