She was predeceased by: her son John Wilgus III; her brother Edward Cotton; and her parents-in-law, Eartha Lee Wilgus and John Wilgus Sr.. She is survived by: her husband John Wilgus Jr.; her children, Michelle Drew (Shawn) and Michael Wilgus (Allison); her grandchildren, John Wilgus IV (Brittany), Benjamin Drew, Zachary Drew (Alyssa), Parker Wilgus, Jewel Wilgus, Grace Wilgus (Skyler) and Rose Hall (RJ); and her great grandchildren, Blakely Wilgus and Xavier Drew.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stono Baptist Church (953 Main Rd, Johns Island, SC 29455). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens (3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414).
