She is survived by: her children, Julius R. Ivester, Jr., Susan Ivester Rees Ph, Laurie I. Pendarvis (Allen) and SonDe I. Smith (Donnie); her brother William Elrod; and her grandchildren, Robin H. C. Ivester, MD, Anna E. Ivester, MD (Dan), Max Ivester (Christina), Allen Pendarvis, Jr., Gabrielle P Radwanski (Gentry), Sean Pendarvis, Megan Pendarvis, Donald Richard Smith and Taylor Smith.
