It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia DeGirolamo of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Lydia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lydia. Though Lydia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael DeGirolamo and Jennie DeGirolamo (Capuano); her husband Raymond A. DeGirolamo; and her siblings, Nellie DeGirolamo, Connie Kinsey and Ernest DeGirolamo.
She is survived by: her sister Lucy DeGirolamo; and her nephews, James Kinsey (Karen) of South Carolina and Jon Kinsey (Laurie) of Kansas.
