With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Koula Bazakas Malanos (Charleston, South Carolina), who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Bazakas and Nicholas Bazakas; her godfather George Latto; and her husband Emmanuel George Malanos. She is survived by: her children, Dr. George Emmanuel Malanos (Cynthia), Despina Malanos Brewer and Lindsay Evangelia Malanos; her grandchildren, Michael Edwin Brewer (Alison), Troy Emmanuel Brewer (Kelley), Adriane Malanos Belton, Lauren Russell Ferderigos, Peter Emmanuel Malanos (Megan) and Adam John Russell (Stephanie); and her godchildren, Tula Hilyer and Effie Fokas. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
