She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlotta Knobeloch McIntosh and Herbert Thomas McIntosh. She is survived by: her children, Meredith Lee McLaughlin (Trey) of Charleston and Thomas W. Williams (Beth) of Woodstock, GA; her grandchildren, Jackson Thomas McLaughlin, Matthew Brady McLaughlin, John Laurence McLaughlin IV, Peyton Ashley Williams and Eliza Layne Williams; her brother H. Thomas McIntosh, Jr. (Margaret) of Charleston; her nephew Charles T. McIntosh (Caroline) of Charleston; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ann, Henry and Thomas.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel (232 Calhoun St, Charleston, SC 29401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (5 Clifford St, Charleston, SC 29401). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Bethany Cemetery (10 Cunnington Ave, Charleston, SC 29405).
In lieu of flowers, a gift in Kay's memory can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 5 Clifford Street, Charleston, SC.
