With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Julia Adams of Charleston, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Benjamin Smith Sr. and Elizabeth Dandridge Smith; her daughter Sherry Callaway; and her granddaughter Jennifer Robin Adams. She is survived by: her husband William Lloyd Adams; her son William Adams (Lynn); her grandchildren, Michael Callaway (Alisha) and Hayley Adams; her great grandchild Elizabeth Ann Callaway; and her son-in-law Scott Callaway.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ackerman Cemetery. A reception was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Old St. Andrews Parish Church Discretionary Fund, 2604 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29414 .
