He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Madden, Sr. and Herta Marle Madden; his sister Martha Madden; and his brother-in-law James Caraviello. He is survived by: his wife Betty Kuykendall Madden; and his sons, Johnny Madden and Paul Madden (Kelly). He is also survived by five grandchildren; two sisters; eight nephews; one niece; five great-nieces; one great-nephew and two sisters-in-law.
