He is survived by: his wife Sadie Royal Medlin (Dee) of Charleston; his children, Kimberly D. Medlin and J. B. Medlin, Jr. (Leslie); his grandchildren, Fisher Mackey Medlin and River John Medlin; and his siblings, Larry Medlin (Doreen) and Barbara Strickland.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Carolina Memorial Funeral Home (7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
