With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacqueline Simmons of Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jacqueline leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lizzie Simmons and Richard Simmons Sr.; her pet Tommy Simmons; and her siblings, Richard Simmons Jr., Caroline "Kitty" Simmons and Sally Mae Geathers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Blondell Simmons, Mary Simmons, Herbert Simmons (Malala) and Jessie Simmons-Ladson (Julius).
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home (2119 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405).
