He was predeceased by: his parents, James Craven and Mary Snelson Craven; his son Christopher Michael Craven; his granddaughter Zoey Craven; and his siblings, Ann Able and Richard Craven.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Beth Powell (Eric), Jack Michael Craven, Jr. (Patty Smith), Ashley Dodd (Billy), Amanda Craven, Cayce Collins (Jamie) and Jane Craven; and his siblings, Cynthia "Cindy" Goude (Lamar) and James "Bobo" Craven (Vicki). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sister Cindy's House (817 Elsey Dr, Charleston, SC 29407). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bedon Baptist Church (2410 Cottageville Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488).
