It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Meers Sr. of Charleston, South Carolina, born in Magnolia, Kentucky, who passed away on July 15, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Meers; his children, Susan Wells (Henry), Patty Meers, Caroline Meers (Mike) and Harold Meers, Jr. (Sandy); his grandchildren, Jesse Thomas (Sarah), H. G. Wells (Caroline), JoLeigh Lutz (Matt), Watterson Wells, Samantha Shaffer (Frank), Gabrielle Bodine Josh (Kyle), Maggie Meers and Harold Gray Meers, III; and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Eve, Deacon, Augusta, Henry, Clay and Reagan.
