Though Gwendolyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Tucker and Johanna Wilson Tucker; and her sister Linda Tucker. She is survived by: her children, William Alston (Melanie), Michael Tucker, Nichole Alston and Carlos Alston; her grandchildren, Nairobi Alston and Darrly N. Evans; and her brothers, Nathaniel K. Tucker Jr. and Virgil Tucker. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Baptist Church (153 Alexander St, Charleston, SC 29403).
