She was predeceased by: her husband Randolph S. Lowder; her parents, Carl Henry Rourk and Alma Tuten; and her grandchild Christy. She is survived by: her children, Allan Lowder (Debbie) of Charleston, SC, Wayne Lowder (Chris) of Columbia, SC, Sandra L. Edmonson (Earl) of Charleston, SC and Susan L. Brannock (Stephen) of Summerville, SC; and her grandchildren, Kristopher, Jennifer, Rachel, Andrew, Lainey and Zachary. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
