It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerhard Erwin Karwinski of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Karwinski and Erna Kussner Karwinski. He is survived by: his wife Walburga Karwinski; his children, Joseph Karwinski (Cam) and Elisabeth Lawrence (Lance); his grandchildren, Heather Williams Finn, Tracy Morris, Andrew Karwinski, Gabrielle Lawrence and Tessa Lawrence; and his son Werner Karwinski (Anne).
