She was predeceased by: her husband Willie James Curnell; her son Joseph W. of Washington; her parent Lanora J. of Washington; and her granddaughter Fanisha Curnell. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Alonza (Gertrude) of Washington, Willis L. Curnell, Willie Mae Curnell, Shirley Curnell-Scott, Marilyn Curnell-Dingle (Leroy), Carl J. Curnell (Benita) and Vernon L. Curnell; and her siblings, James, Sr. of Washington, Georgianna Williams and Carrie of Washington. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
